Our Mission
AI agents fail in ways traditional software does not. Data leaks, unauthorized actions, harmful outputs. These failures happen even when the system appears to work correctly by traditional software engineering standards.
We believe safety should be provable, not promised. Superagent exists to close the gap between what AI agents can do and what teams can confidently deploy.
The Team
Alan Zabihi (CEO) and Ismail Pelaseyed (CTO) are the co-founders of Superagent.
Before LLMs existed, they built a startup that automated advertising for e-commerce companies using proprietary algorithms. The company was acquired. They have experience from companies including Google, SKF, Klarna, and Trustly.
They built one of the first open source AI agent frameworks, which was adopted by enterprises building agentic experiences. They continue to maintain open source tools and models for AI agent safety, including sandboxing for coding agents and open-weight guardrail models.
